What the hell's so good about home, anyway?

I can do magic. Real magic. Important magic. I can summon clouds and lightening and thunder, I can fly through space in just my skin, I can turn into a fox, a bear, a bird. I can create a portal or mend a broken coffee mug with a whisper or improve my eyesight and strength- I can fight, I can throw fire, lead, can make swords and arrows glance off my skin like marble. Fuck, I fucking hate it here.

[ Not judgmentally, just sort of cautiously curious. ]

I'm not a god anywhere. But this is like- it's like being told 'you have to save the world, but first we're going to gouge your eyes out and cut your hands off!'
